Return Policy

Vantage ID has a no-hassle return policy.  If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason you may return it for a full refund within 30 days of the invoice date.

To return products:

  1. Call our Customer Service Department or your Account Manager at 619-656-5887 between normal business hours (8:00am - 5:00pm PT) to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
  2. If a product has been visibly damaged during transit contact our Customer Service Department immediately and file a claim with the Carrier.
  3. If a product is believe to be defective, contact our Customer Service Department immediately and request a Non-conformance number.
  4. Write the RMA and/or Non-conformance number(s) on the return shipping label and return the product within 30 days of the invoice date to: Vantage ID Applications, Inc. 901 Lane Ave, Chula Vista, CA 91914
  5. Product packaging must be undamaged or unaltered, with no marks of any kind; including writing, stamps or shipping labels.  DO NOT write on or affix the RMA label on the original product box.  You should make sure that all returned products are double boxed when shipped back to Vantage.
  6. Products must be in new condition with all of the original packaging and accessories intact (i.e. product manuals, cables, power supplies, static bags, etc.).


  • No returns shall be authorized for CUSTOM ITEMS, OPENED SOFTWARE, or PRINTHEADS.
  • Returns will be rejected and returned to the customer if:
    • A product is returned without the RMA label
    • Is missing any components sent with the original order
    • The product or product packaging is damaged or defaced in any way
  • A restocking fee of 15% of the invoiced price may be assessed and/or store credit may be issued in lieu of a refund if returned products are not received within 30 days of the invoice date.
  • Credits will be issue only to the credit card used in the original transaction.
Our return policy is designed to help us process your orders quickly and accurately.  We appreciate your urgency in identifying and returning unwanted or defective goods.  Your cooperation through this process is necessary to expedite your return and will help ensure our prices stay low.
